Michael Chapman Davis

Michael Chapman Davis, 75 of Sacramento, CA., passed away peacefully on July 31, 2017, Born on June 7, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI, raised in Mulberry and Lafayette, IN. he is survived by his wife of 30 years Joyce (McGinn) Davis, daughters Tracy (Jeff) Gibson of Rolling Hills, CA, Courtney (Tim) Murphy of Sacramento, CA. Roxanne (McGinn) Davis of Lakewood, CA.and Robyn Davis of Sacramento, CA. siblings Kathy Shirley of Reseda, CA., Maryann Tracewell of Lawrenceburg, IN., James Davis of Columbus, OH, Colleen Saunders of Windsor, CO. and John Davis of Aurora, IN., He was preceded in death by parents Laura Irene LaFon and Jennings Earnest Davis also preceded in death by siblings Joseph Davis and Patricia Mallott-Hensell. Mike was a retired insurance broker who enjoyed football and watching the Green Bay Packers and all sports but mostly he enjoyed all of his grandchildren...Madelyn, Mia and Mary Murphy, Jillian and Curtis Gibson, and Gavin and Jayden Sterns. His great sense of humor and love for his family were his signature traits and will be missed by all.

A celebration of life memorial will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. details will be posted on FaceBook shortly. Please save the date.
