Chad David Perkins, age 51, passed away on February 16, 2023, in Sacramento, California. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Perkins, and their daughters Juniper and Haley; his mother, Patricia Perkins; his sister Cynthia Perkins; his grandmother Genevieve Greenman; his in-laws Joseph and Pamela Tanner; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester David Perkins, and his grandfather Archie L. Greenman.
Chad was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed exploring restaurants, visiting the beach, watching football, and spending time with his loved ones. Chad worked in telecommunications for almost thirty years, starting as a systems technician and eventually becoming a construction engineer. He recently began attending Oak Tree Community Church after recovering from life-altering health issues last year. Chad loved cracking jokes with his friends and cooking Mawmaw’s recipes for his family. He could recite every episode of M*A*S*H by heart. Friends and family will remember him as thoughtful, funny, kind, adventurous, and hardworking.
Memorial donations in Chad’s honor may be made to the American Stroke Foundation or the American Heart Association.
