Doss Bill Tannehill Jr

Doss Bill Tannehill Jr., 67, of Sacramento, CA, passed away on July 27, 2025, at Kaiser South in Sacramento, CA. He was born on May 18, 1958, in Sacramento, CA, to Doss Bill Tannehill Sr. and Josephine Marie Tannehill.

Doss Tannehill was known for many things: he was a father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, a father-in-law, and a friend. Earlier in life, he was a mechanic and retired as a customer service representative after 11 years of service with VSP. He loved his family and his country. He enjoyed great food, a cold beer, a good cigar, and spending time with loved ones.

He is survived by his spouse, Margaret; his children, Kristine and Doss; his grandchildren, Sean, Daniel, Blaine, Mitchell, Doss IV, Gianni, Josephine, Lillyann, and Harlen; and his siblings, Fran, Kenneth, Carolyn, Sylvia, and Jodi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doss and Josephine Tannehill.

A celebration of Doss’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified once details are finalized
