Estaban Joaquin Strohl-De Herrera

Car enthusiast and world traveler Estaban Joaquin Strohl-De Herrera’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. Estaban passed away on April 19, 2023 at the too-young age of 48, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. He was often heard saying “Drive it like you stole it” and “Ride it til the wheels fall off.” He lived up to both of those quotes.

Estaban was born in Sacramento, CA on May 24, 1974 to Steve and Veronica (Baca) De Herrera. He loved spending time with family and friends and was the guy who lit up a room upon entering it. He was generous; he was kind; he had the most creative and hilarious sense of humor! Estaban is survived by Darryl, his loving husband of 9 years (+1 year as domestic partners); his mother, Veronica; his sister, Estabina; and beloved godson Joaquin.
