James Randolph Inman 8/26/1955-6/25/2024 Beloved father, son, brother & friend. Survived by daughter Danielle Jones & grandpups Ruby & Louie, sister Gerry Inman & brother Robert Inman. The greatest gift in his & his family's life was the birth of his daughter Danielle. Jim was a Sacramento State graduate with a degree in Environmental Studies & Recreation, he made the Dean's Honors List. He spent much of his youth living in Japan & enjoyed learning about the local culture. Jim was involved in youth basketball & baseball. He was an avid sports fan & a diehard Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams fan. When the Kings came to Sac his loyalty became split, although in his heart, the Lakers would always have a slight advantage over the Kings. Jim was also a history buff & enjoyed sharing his knowledge of both history & sports with his daughter. He was a lover of all animals and family pets over the years, known as Papa Jim, aka the Treat Man. He enjoyed family trips to the Homewood cabin at Tahoe & time spent at Bodega Bay & Santa Cruz. He said he was one of the lucky ones who found his soul mate, his was Sonia Jones. Jim will be missed by his family, friends, and bar family, as well as all who had the pleasure to cross paths with him. Rest in love and peace.
