John David O'Brien

February 23, 1950-December 1, 2021

John passed away from Cancer (Agent Orange) with family by his side. John served in the US Navy aboard the USS Constellation during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Local 340 Union. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wendy O’Brien, children Kimberly and Matthew O’Brien, Grandchildren Vincent, Rain and Kian O’Brien, Samantha (Nick) Carrasco, and great-granddaughters Aubrey, Savannah, Amilia and Madalyn. He is also survived by his three siblings, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Northern California National Cemetery, Dixon on January 20, 2022 at 9:00 AM. The family invite friends and family to a Celebration of Life at the American Legion Post 521 at 12:00 PM, 6700 8Th Street, Rio Linda, CA 95673. Dishes to share are welcome, but not necessary. The family wants to Thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time.
