Katherine Gertrude Jimenez 

June 27th 1939- July 18th 2025

Our beautiful, beloved Wife, Mom & Abuelita has returned home to the Lord. On July 18th our brave, courageous Katherine took her final breath. She is survived by her Husband of 47 yrs, Jose Luis Jimenez; Her only Daughter, Christina (Bobette) Reynolds of Woodland and 4 Sons, Robert (Kathy) Reynolds of Arkansas, Reno (Kim) Reynolds of Woodland, Jimmy Burks of Arkansas and Michel (Lesia) Burks of Arkansas. Her legacy will live on through her 20 grandkids 29 great grand children and 2 + one on the way Great great grandchildren.

Katherine was a 1957 Graduate of Orland High school and has lived throughout Southern and Northern Ca, making her home in Yolo county the last 50 yrs . She has worked numerous jobs from phone operator to field working and ended with Sales associate at Gottschalks department store. 

Our family has been so blessed to have had Katherine for the last 86 yrs and more so the last 20 after being diagnosed in 2005 with pancreatic cancer. She lived, loved and laughed with a heart of a true warrior. I think she will most be remembered for her Cookie Nights, Salsa and Holiday pies. She loved Going to Mexico with her husband and requested that be her final resting place . 

I find comfort in knowing that she is swimming with the Dolphins and Howling at the moon and has been reunited with her Parents and siblings who have gone before her. She also leaves behind 1 sister, 3 brothers and many many nieces & nephews! 

The family will be holding a private celebration of life in the near future and would like to thank all who loved our Katherine and shared special moments with her. May you cherish those memories forever.
