Lucretia Mulvey

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing on July 23, 2020 of Lucretia Mulvey, nee Lucretia Losorelli in Folsom, California.  She was pre-deceased by her parents, Nicola and Teresino Losorelli, and her sister Maria Caringella.  She is survived by her husband Brian, son Sean, grandchildren Keira and Callum as well as brothers Giuseppe and Salvatore Losorelli.  Lucretia was born in Glendale, CA in 1955 and grew up in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California.  She had a varied working career as a registered dental assistant (RDA) and also working part time at Sears; was an environmental hazardous waste specialist for Hughes Aircraft Company, and finally a project manager for the mortgage industry in Sacramento.  She was also the first woman in her family to earn a Bachelor’s degree.  She met and married Brian when the two met while working for Sears.  They had a wonderful life together during their 42 year marriage and moved to Northern California in 1997.  She loved to travel the world, ran in the California International Marathon in 2003 with exercise being very important to her.  Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.  She taught them to be kind to others and that it was way more rewarding to give gifts than to receive them.  Her infectious laughter would light up a room and make all those around her laugh with her.
