William Walker Obituary

William Lee Walker, 76, gained his wings and died unexpectedly on September 8th, 2020. He was a long-time resident of Stockton, California. Later in life William moved to Sacramento, California to be closer to his family and has lived there ever since.

William was born on February 14th, 1944, in Stockton, California to Raymond Walker and Jessie Mae Baker. He worked as a forklift operator for the Defense Depot, and a pasteurizer at a local dairy/cheese factory. William truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, trying variety types of cultural foods, listening to music, telling stories of the past, spending time with his brother-in-law (Jackie Rasberry) and attending family events/celebrations.

He was a proud father to his sons Raymond (Veronica) Walker, and William (Cherilyn) Walker, Jr. He enjoyed spending time and sharing stories with his grandchildren Raymond Jr (Elexis), Kara (Kevin), April (Chris), Jose (Alycia), Robert (Bria), Krystal, Jordyn (Kobee), David, Kayla, Khayree (Madison), and Jasmine (Ernie); and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a beloved brother/brother-in-law, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, and neighbor. We lost a kind and good-hearted man with his passing.

Williams’s memory will live on in his extended family, friends, and siblings Raymond Walker Jr. of Stockton, Bobbie Jean of Louisiana, Beverly of Nevada, Janice of Stockton and Elaine of Oklahoma.
