I became friends with Donnya at UC Davis. It was a very challenging time for her. It was good to hear that she found her place helping to care for pets. Her love of animals and her sense of humor were always there despite whatever else was going on.

To Donnya's family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I attended high school with Donnya (and Dan). Though I didn't know her well I was good friends with Rick Flener who always spoke so highly and kindly about her. I felt I knew her more through Rick. Rick passed years ago and now Donnya, both too soon. Take comfort in the knowledge that she will be well remembered and missed.

I would like to extend my condolences to the Hafich family following Donny'a passing. Donnya and I went to junior high school together in Fairfield. I remember her as being a very energetic, friendly, and bright young lady. Through her work and her life, she must have touched the lives of many people and animals, and her passing has left a great void in the lives of many.

We are so sorry that Donnya has passed. She took such loving care of our dogs and we appreciated her wonderful sense of humor. Our condolences to her family and other friends. She will be missed but I imagine that so many animals, including one of our dogs, were there to greet her when she arrived in heaven.

I'm so sorry to hear about Donnya's passing. I have been her neighbor for the past 11 years. We always chatted about our pets and such when we ran in to each out front. She will be missed.

We were so sad to learn of Donnya's passing. She was an incredibly compassionate woman and we were lucky to have known her. She was a wonderful caregiver/house sitter to our pets! We are thinking of her family.

Andrew and I are so sorry to hear of Donnya's passing. I saw her in Woodland in December in front of the Post Office. I had my new pup with me and Donnya was ever the dog whisperer when meeting my little rescue, Princess Pookahontas. She spoke of enjoying her volunteer work at Renee's place and with her business clients. She was very upbeat, having a happy day. She took care of our pets many times several years ago. I always enjoyed seeing her about town. We will miss Donnya! Thea and Andrew Minsk
